Calling all 2012-2015 born players!!
It is time to register for tryouts. PIDBA will be holding tryouts for the upcoming Regional Development League this Wednesday the 21st May at Newhaven College.
Basketball Victoria are running a pilot season of a Regional Development League throughout the South Gippsland region.
The league is designed to be a development league to help players throughout the region build their skills between the country representative season.
Games will be on a Friday night in different hub locations, including but not limited to Leongatha, Wonthaggi and other venues.
The season will be a run over 6 rounds with no finals.
Games will be scheduled during the June/July/August period not including the school holidays.
Players will receive the opportunity to play a higher level of basketball than our standard domestic competition.
Players will be selected to ensure a well balanced squad takes the court each week.
Further information regarding the format and commitments to this inaugural league will be emailed to parents regarding the league.
The league is due to start by June 12th- so no further tryouts will be held after the 21st May.

Location: Newhaven College Gym Courts
Time: 6.15pm – 7.10pm (U12 Girls and Boys)
7.15pm – 8.10pm (U14 Girls and Boys)
What to bring: your smiling face, a drink bottle and basketball (labelled)
